Senior Finance Manager

To support further purposeful growth and a strong business forecast, the Company now seeks to appoint the newly created role of Senior Finance Manager to manage all day-to-day finance operations - including cash flow, month-end, and reporting, preparing timely and accurate management accounts, budgets, and forecasts. A key hire for the business, the role holder will also be responsible for coordinating external audits, ensuring legal and regulatory compliance and liaising with external accountants, banks, and stakeholders.

The Senior Finance Manager will support senior management with financial insights and analysis, identifying and implementing process improvements as needed. They’ll develop annual budgets and track performance against targets, maintaining internal controls, managing financial risk and contributing to business planning and wider growth initiatives.

Applicants should possess the following skills and attributes:

  • ACA, ACCA, CIMA, IATI qualified accountant.
  • Significant relevant experience as a Finance Manager (or similar accounting manager role).
  • Demonstrable experience of successfully managing and developing a finance team.
  • Ideally delivered, or has played a part in the delivery of, an ERP system implementation.
  • Hands-on approach, able to perform operational tasks alongside managing and developing a team.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Confident, adaptable, and commercially minded with the ability to lead people in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong technical finance knowledge, including month-end close, reporting, and VAT.
