Ruth McDonald has a 20-year track record in the Northern Ireland recruitment sector with significant experience in successfully delivering executive search and selection solutions to appoint leaders with organisations from PLCs and FDI-backed market entrants to family-owned and start-up businesses. Ruth works in partnership with senior stakeholders and business owners, with relationships built on credibility, trust and a genuine interest in both clients and candidates. Her experience in executive recruitment spans a wide range of market sectors placing leaders at C-Suite, Director and Senior Manager level. Ruth is passionate about people development and is a qualified L&D practitioner. She oversees all Narratology project delivery to ensure a market-leading experience for both clients and candidates.

Research Consultant

Dean Jones brings an extensive background in professional research, providing invaluable business insights to clients across diverse industries. He specialises in identifying and tracking executive-level talent, analysing market trends, and delivering the latest industry intelligence. Before joining Narratology, Dean established a proven track record in the recruitment sector, with expertise in talent intelligence and research. His work has consistently produced market insights to support senior stakeholders’ recruitment strategies. Dean holds a BA in International Politics and Conflict Studies from Queen’s University Belfast.

Marketing and Administration Executive

Rose Winter manages marketing support for all projects at Narratology, as well as company advertising and communications. Rose often acts as the first point of contact at Narratology for clients and candidates. She has a strong background in brand storytelling and works closely with our clients to showcase their narratives to the brightest talent. Rose graduated from Queens University Belfast with a Masters in Literature and previously worked in an advanced manufacturing start-up in Belfast.
